Q. Can I have music in the background?
A. Background music can be included at no extra charge. Whatever music you want, you must specify and provide. REP accepts MP3's and CD's. However, if you would like, REP can provide royalty free music of our choice (whatever is appropriate for the occasion) at no extra charge.
Q. Can I have title pages?
A. Yes, but each one counts as a photo slide.
Q. Can I use digital photos that I took with my digital camera?
A. Yes, if you send the digital files it will save you the scanning fee for each picture.
Q. Can I scan my own photos?
A. Yes you can. And keep in mind that although it is only going to be displayed on TV, they still need to be a decent resolution. They should have a minimum resolution of 800 pixels in both dimensions. If that doesn't make any sense, you should probably just let REP take care of the scanning.
A. Yes. Chapters are placed at every title slide which may be accessed from the DVD menu to quickly jump to that section of the slideshow.
Q. Can I have chapters?
A. Yes, chapters are included free of charge at each title slide.
Q. How long is each photo displayed?
A. The amount of time each photo is shown is determined by you. A good time for the photos to appear is around 7-9 seconds. And don't forget, there's always the pause button.
Q. How many photos can be on one disc?
A. There really is no limit of photos on the disc, but there is a limit of 2 hours of media. So a better judge would be whether the amount of pictures you have times the length of each photo and if that's under 2 hours, you're good.
Q. Can I have more than one slideshow on one disc?
A. Yes, but specify how you want it done in the special instructions part of the form.
Q. If I have multiple slideshows, will they play consecutively?
A. No.
